No experience needed at all. Our 6-day surf camp in Lombok is designed for all levels — complete beginners through to intermediate surfers looking to improve technique. Our coaches assess your level on day one and tailor the sessions accordingly. If you've never stood on a board in your life, you’re more than welcomed!

Gerupuk Bay works year-round — which is one of the reasons we love it. The dry season (May to October) brings bigger, more powerful swells, ideal for intermediate to advanced surfers. The wet season (November to April) offers smaller, cleaner, glassier waves — perfect for beginners and those working on technique. Our camps run every week of the year, so there's genuinely no bad time to visit.

Gerupuk is about 30–40 minutes from Lombok International Airport (LOP). All our surf camp packages include airport transfers — we'll arrange pickup and drop-off for you. If you're booking surf lessons only (without accommodation), we can also arrange transport for you with an additional charge.

The surf camp price includes: all 8 surf sessions with ISA-certified coaching, 2 surf theory sessions, 2 surf photo analysis (photos yours to keep), 2 surfskate session, a drone videography session (videos yours to keep), a family dinner on your last night, and return airport transfers.

Accommodation and daily breakfast are included with the Semeton Surf House and Private Room packages. The flexible (no accommodation) package excludes these.

Absolutely. Inside Gerupuk is one of the most beginner-friendly breaks in Lombok — soft, rolling waves with a forgiving reef and easy boat access. It's the spot we use most for beginners and early intermediate surfers. As you progress during the week, we'll take you to other spots around the bay that match your growing confidence.

We keep group sizes deliberately small to maintain coaching quality. Maximum 6 guests per week, grouped by level where possible. You'll never feel lost in a crowd — this is one of the things our guests mention most in their reviews.

Yes — all surfboards, leashes, rash guards and equipment are included in your camp or lesson price. We'll match you with the right board for your size and skill level. No need to bring or rent anything separately unless you want to!

Yes. If you're just passing through Lombok or have limited time, we offer private and semi-private surf lessons on a per-session basis. Message us on WhatsApp to check availability and pricing for your dates.

We're located in Gerupuk Village, right in the middle of Gerupuk Bay on the south coast of Lombok. This puts us closer to the surf breaks than most camps based in Kuta — no long transfers needed. A full address and Google Maps link are sent with your booking confirmation.
